Non-Profit Organization Spotlight - Independent School Alliance 1

A1 American Supports The Independent School Alliance

A1 American is proud to support non-profit organizations that make our communities a better place. Today, we would like to put a spotlight on an impactful organization for underrepresented minorities in Southern California. The Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs (ISA)  is an access organization for counseling and placement for students in grades K-10. For 35 years, the Independent School Alliance has assisted thousands of young people and their families to achieve their dream of quality education within our member school community.

While having to operate as a virtual community due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the organization is still working to help parents and students alike while also offering volunteer opportunities for those who want to lend a helping hand.

ISA works in partnership with more than 50 member schools in the LA area. From diversity programs for faculty and staff to student orientation programs to college transition workshops, ISA is making a difference in student experience for children of color. Plus, they offer 4 annual scholarships to seniors they have placed in schools to help make college affordable.

As a non-profit, ISA relies on funding from businesses, foundations, and individuals like you. So if you or your company would like to help support our underrepresented communities and help underrepresented kids become future community leaders, follow this link for some ways to provide donations and other forms of assistance.
